The risks involved and the serious life-long effects of an abortion are some things most women don't consider when confronted with an unplanned pregnancy.
Studies have shown that women who have had an abortion have a higher risk of subsequent mental health problems compared to women who have not had an abortion.
Women who have had an abortion have a higher risk of mental health problems compared to women with an 'unplanned' pregnancy who gave birth.
Women with a history of abortion have higher rates of anxiety, depression, alcohol use/misuse and suicidal behavior, compared to those who have not had an abortion.
If you or someone you know is experiencing these symptoms, our pregnancy centers offer confidential, compassionate support for you or your loved one. Call or walk in to talk to someone about issues from a past abortion.

INFECTIONS & PREGNANCY
When a woman is pregnant sexually transmitted diseases and infections (STD/STI) can be more serious for her and her baby. A pregnant woman with an STD/STI can infect her baby before, during or after the baby's birth. It could cause her to have early labor or early rupture of the membranes surrounding the baby in the uterus.
Pregnant women should know the risks before pregnancy and get tested early for STD's/STI's. Call or visit us for a medical referral.

We are made in the image of God- each one of us. No exceptions! Who we are and what kind of people God wants us to be is at the heart of morality. It is the foundation for loving other people, our God, and ourselves. Scripture tells us that from the moment of conception, God knew us and loved us: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you." (Jeremiah 1:5)
